Christmas Quick Kit

I don't know about you but I have soooo many photos of Christmas!! Plus I seem to put them off because of that! So I got one of the 3 Bugs Christmas Kits with 12 sheets of Double Sided Pattern Paper, Alphas, Sticker Sheet and Diecuts and started putting together 6 QUICK AND EASY Layouts.

And I am really happy with the result. I have only used one piece of Chipboard and some bakers Twine plus 6 sheets of cardstock.

I was also able to make 4 cards and some gift tags as well.
The kit was available over at Mad About Scrappin but have sold out already.

This was a great way to scrap some of those many, many christmas photos and it only cost just over $24!!!!!

I am working on the 3 bugs Tool Time kit at the moment as well trying to scrap those oh so many photos that I have!!!

Some challenges done!!

I have been able to get a little bit of scrapping done lately although its been to hot the last few days in QLD.

Finally dug through my stash and pulled out last years Kaiser Konstruct Pattern Paper. The first layout was for a challenge but never got it in on time (ooops) and now I can't remember which one lol!!!

More of the Kaiser Konstruct Pattern Paper and my favourite new toy my Kaiser Bubble Wrap stamp. We still have 1 available in the MAD Shop!!

Here is my February Challenge for Out of the Hat. You had to use clouds, a tree and masking.

I used Impasto on my clouds and then painted them white to make them look fluffy. I used the Timeworks Mask with Glimmer must and a Words or Whatever Chipboard Tree which I painted brown and then used Twinkling H2O's on the leaves.

Got to do the February Challenge Sketch over in the Scraplounge. Love this piece of WOW Chipboard and of course I used Twlinkilng H2O's on both and used my Smooch's for the black on the puppy!

Here's a little bit from Mel -

I am a mother of 4 beautiful boys, one of whom is an Angel. My son Harrison was born on the 14th of September 2010. He was diagnosed with an incurable condition, (‘diaphramatic hernia’) and died on the 15th of September 2010. Being an avid scrap booker, I embarked upon creating albums for the parents who had gone through the same experience. I now donate 6x6 Baby albums to the hospital for the parents who have lost their babies. This scrapbooking crop day will be raising money for these albums.

I hope you will all be able to join us on this special day!! You can head over and read more about Harrisons Little Wings Charity over on their Facebook Page!!

Thank you all so much!!

Its a Miracle!!!!!

I have finally scrapped. Well 1 layout at least but its a start.
Ever since Christmas I have been having a mental block when it came to scrapping. It hasn't helped that there have been 2 kids constantly yelling!!!
I finally finished off my layout of Mt Macedon. I think this was a sketch challenge months ago. Love the Basic Grey Pyrus range! Perfect for a lot of my Melbourne photos!!

I went digging through my mountain of paper and dug out this Kaiser range from last year. Great boy colours! And my first finished layout for 2011 so I am really happy!!

Hopefully I will have lots more to share soon! TFL

A quick update

I haven't really done much scrapping over the last month. Have been busy watching all the weather and what is happening here in my beautiful state of QLD. Its just been a heartbreaking few weeks!
I have had a chance to sort out a few of my layouts and here is a couple from last year.
This is using some of the Websters Pattern Paper that I have had for ages in my stash.

My little man and me on holidays in Coffs Harbour. Love this chipboard piece from A 2 Z Scraplets.

This is one of the layouts that was in the Seaside Kit designed by Amanda Lawrence. The kit has sold out but we do have some of the paper left over in the shop. It was a fantastic range from Kaiser!!

A layout of my nephew Zephyr when he was just born.

To everyone effected by the floods we are thinking about you. Thanks for looking!!

Finally.........

I am scrapping last years Christmas Kit!!!! Shocking I know but I wanted to wait until I had photos that I liked and Beth would not sit on Santas lap last year but this year she pretty much ran to him!!!!!
This kit was designed by DT Member Lisa K using last years Kaiser's Christmas papers! These papers are still a favourite of mine.
I am so happy I finally got to finish off these kits! Better late than never!!!!!

Santa was here!

I have got soooo many years worth of Chritmas photos to scrap. I just never seem to get around to scrapping them. I took advantage of Mad About Scrappins December Christmas Kit to scrap a couple of last years photos.
There layouts used the Karen Foster Christmas range. Loved this range has a very vintage feel to them. Also included in the kit was a packet of D-Lish Poinsettas and of course some A2Z Chipboard. Loving the new Kaiser Bling flourishes that have just arrived in as well! These will be available on line this week!
